He's just having fun man, chill. Realistically people only clicked on this post because it was Twitchy or they like the Halo models, not because they wanted a flawless expansion of Halo lore on Alien intercourse. Given that this is entirely funded by fans, the majority of who, (if not all,) are on patreon, it's likely that he checked with them to see if they were fine with a lighter, non-lore specific scene.

It is porn after all, and I have to say I rarely see people have such a hard-on for in depth lore as you do. However, unfortunately for you, the likelihood is that there is probably a large portion of people on this website that have never even played halo. Furthermore, incorporating such minute details of lore takes effort to an already long and trying process, and would likely kill some of the enthusiasm Twitchy had on this project.

I get it if you are one of his patreons, it always sucks when your money goes towards something that wasn't exactly what you wanted, but you have to remember that Twitchy is never going to be able to cater to every whim that his patreons want, especially if he's producing a piece for the masses. No two minds are alike, and thus nothing made by another person is ever going to be exactly how you want it.
However, if your not even a patreon, I feel like more gratitude is needed. Twitchy is putting this piece out here for everyone to see, free of charge, despite the fact that he could save five minutes of his time and only upload it to his patreon, and not here. I, as someone who is unable to pay for commissions or to join a patronage, (I'm still in education and have a low-paying, part time job,) am very grateful that Twitchy has the kindness to share his work for nothing.

As previously said, Twitchy would of spent ages on this. Literal hours of rendering, bug-fixing and scene-making. Yes it is a porn piece, but I think you fail to realise how much effort this porn piece took. Imagine if you spent literal hours making fan art of a series you enjoyed, and then someone came and ripped into you for not making it almost perfect in accordance to the series' lore. It would likely demotivate you a little bit, and also make it seem that your viewers don't appreciate your work. Not a nice scenario, is it?
Everybody is entitled to criticism, but you say it as such as if there were no line to be crossed in terms of chastisement, (which there is,) or that your no where near to crossing that line. (You crossed it ages ago, buckaroo,)
Criticism is supposed to be constructive, but you've made yours highly emotional and personalised, acting like your opinion of the piece is the final say in whether it's good or not. Just because it doesn't follow the lore of the series, doesn't mean its a failure.

The T'vaoan's chops are awfully nasal and the delivery is strangely flat, especially strange considering they're much taller and beefier than other Kig-Yar, by which I mean that they're significantly taller than your average human, not counting of course the 7ft tall behemoths that are Spartan II soldiers.

As for the Sangheili Arbiter, I could have accepted that maybe this was a different Arbiter than Thel Vadam to explain why the voice doesn't sound anything like him or why the way he approached the T'vaoan was so out of character, but the armour you used is Thel's armour from the later Halo games, meaning it literally can't possibly be any other Arbiter. And this isn't me saying "Thel wouldn't wanna sex up his crew," not at all, I love porn like this, but I feel it would be better if either the voice sounded more like the Arbiter we've come to know and have the hots for, OR, the way he approached the Skirmisher had been more in line with the personification of formality that Thel had always been.

Even without Patreon, I'm sure you can ask your fans to drum up some support so that your animations will be improved.

Wow have fun getting downvoted that was incredibly rude. Literally no one needs some halo know it all to tell them how to animate porn. Also his animations have improved drastically from his older ones. Its really insulting to tell someone who has way more animation experience then you (you probably havent even animated anything in your life) that he needs to improve. Maybe think next time you comment something so disrespectful.

I think that you may of come across differently than how you intended to present yourself. You did write two small paragraphs solely on Halo lore, and two small paragraphs on how the voice acting was in your opinion subpar, and a line admitting that you didn't enjoy this. You emphasised your points by capitalising certain words, ("the dialog is... NOT great,") and giving your overarching opinion it's own line. ("can't get warm to this.)
This much attention to the lore, and the dramatic presentation of your opinions does present you as a bit arrogant and oblivious to the struggles of animating without context, and also more concerned about what's canonically correct in the Halo franchise rather than helping twitchy improve. However, if you had added context that you were also an animator, and placed the emphasis on how Twitchy could realistically improve rather than on your own opinions, I feel like your comment would of had more clarity.

Getting your thoughts expressed clearly on the internet is hard, as auditory signals are how people usually pick up what exactly a speaker means. Unless your uploading a video or using a chat voice, (non of which e621 has for commenters,) what you trying to convey is likely to be misunderstood to a significant extent. (On that note, I regularly worry that whenever I try to write up a calm, non-provocative wall of text, it comes off as condescending, and thus ruins my goal of trying not to offend people.)

Finally, you didn't actually mention that the voice acting was respectable. Sure, you did seem to soften your tone when you realised that Twitchy did it all himself, but you never outright gave respect. Criticism should always be a mix of positives and negatives, (unless something is utterly shite,) but in your original post, you only gave negatives, making it seem more like an ignorant, "I didn't like this because of my personal preferences, and thus it should change," post, rather than a, "There are some things I think you could improve upon, so here, let me help you out," post.

I'm sorry that I insinuated that you were ungrateful and slightly arrogant in my last post, but from the contents written, that's honestly how I perceived it came off as. Sometimes a little bit of clarity can go a long way!

actually they could simluate it in another software and cache it as an animation, then import that animation into source filmmaker

I normally mute animations since voice work is bad 90% of the time, but I think this is one of those 10%. Fake moans are incredibly obvious and are a super turn-off. Here though, the slight sighs and tempered reactions are actually realistic and help ambiance immensely. The dialogue itself is good too, with the characters acting how real people would. The only gripe I have is that the sangheili's voice sounds altered; I'm not a fan of that, though I acknowledge that there's really no solution to making a voice fit a fictional character's.

I'm a bit out of the loop when it comes to Halo, haven't played them in a while which I need to fix, but the jackal (I think that's what he is) has such a cute voice. Also a decent impersonation of the Arbiter (I think it's Halo 5's one, again I'm out of the loop so correct me if I'm wrong) Great animation, I always love Twitchy's long animations the most.

It's as good as always, and love the models!
