Hypnotic Entanglement
Across the world, plants have developed many different methods of self preservation. Most rely on photosynthesis to gather energy, with some arming themselves with spikes and barbs to ward of predators. Some have turned to a more carnivorous approach, swallowing and digesting prey for nutrients. This plant doesn't need to exert itself fighting its prey like some other plants, as it has developed specialized tentacles and a concoction of fluids designed to subdue its prey pleasurably. The chemical cocktail includes willpower suppressants to place the target in a more docile and obedient state, and aphrodisiacs to keep the subject needy and hard, eager to do anything for release.
Axie seems to have fallen right into this plant's trap, eyes glazed over as the tentacle lodged deep down his throat secretes that special chemical mix, filling his mind with only the bliss of obedience and submission. The singular vine is all that's needed to keep him in place, any thoughts of hostility or escape completely wiped from his mind. A gentle tug around Axie's throat pulls him wherever the plant wants, his body under the plant's full command.
Who knows what this plant has in mind for the poor deeragon. He'll probably come to in a couple of hours, having no memory of the event besides feeling a bit... drained, and that he should probably explore the forest again in the future.
