Y'all do realize she got shot in the brain, right? Episodes like this are not unexpected, even if the person recovers from it.

yea some people tend to forget that the body swells as a defense mechanism... have that happen in the brain ... with possible tissue damage etc and well yea , i guess most people just think of shots to the face as fatal or "the ones you live from" without looking at the bigger picture.

But it could be that while they visited her they never seen her have a episode in their presence,

I don't understand why the hospital/nurse wouldn't warn about this or be more aware of it. Not only should they be the ones best equipped to notice, understand and handle this issue but Jonsey panicked and attacked the exact nurse who brought this group so she should be well aware of this herself.

The first two pannels (and the last pannel of the last page) made me nervous, kuddos to Grimart for illustrating the situation so well.
