Tom always know how to so very finely balance the line of being ALMOST nsfw with his art and keeping it sfw. And this is like just another big example of it. I dare say this is one of the even closer pieces of art hes done thats just on the bordering edge of going explicit. And we all love it you'd almost think he tries to use these art pieces to probe and test how people react to it though he could probably never publically draw nsfw art.

The funny thing is that Tom doesn't dislike NSFW. He is okay with others drawing NSFW of TwoKinds characters, like FluffKevlar has. He has just stated he doesn't like how it looks when he draws it, as he feels his style and overall art is not good for NSFW

Interesting. Where do you have this information from? :o and i can both see and not see why in that case. I mean the quality of his art is so through the roof that it wouldn't even look bad if he began drawing nsfw bits but if he means that it feels out of place because his style is and has been worked around the whole idea of said borderlining of nsfw and sfw without crossing the former. Perhaps but it sounds to me hes just careful and unsure to really take that step imo. Which is normal if again the style he does with teasing us is what he 100% is comfortable with so far.

He has said so on his stream several times. He's aware of all the fanarts and doesn't really care, even high profile ones like Fluff's. And I don't think is because the borderline NSFW. The way he explained it was that with his style NSFW looks bad to his eyes. So I don't think he will ever take that step, and not because he is afraid of it, but because he feels he is not good at it.

I getcha and interesting he talks so openly about it i've always assumed there was some public image kinda thing like how the publisher he has. But thanks for clarifying where the information comes from but again reading what your telling me it does sound like something about how he has developed his overall style which can explain why he feels like that. Like imagine doing something for so long that you just about know only that and doing a bit differently feels foreign and wrong in a way? thats probably why if he ever did try and do it. It would be a long process for him without a doubt but thats something he won't any time ever i bet.

A long time ago he said he promised his grandfather he wouldn't do porn. One of his first physical print books had a dedication to the same grandfather. So he apparently meant a lot to him, and wanted to keep to that promise.

However, you'll note how many pieces from him are done in a manner that makes NSFW edits trivial. E.g. spread legs, bared breasts, etc. while making it clear he's okay with edits and redistribution of his work, original or edited.

I believe this is him loopholing his promise. He's not technically drawing porn; others are editing his work.

And then there was the time he DID draw porn, but it was only meant to be shared among a few friends. Then one of them leaked it.

From what I knows, his own are exceptions. After all, it's not an edit if you created the base one to begin, but rather an "another version".

When they nuked edits, they got a few of his own because they had the edit tag on them. Whether or not it was unintentional, we don't know. Possibly? But since then I'm not aware of any of his edits getting uploaded.

People will link the nude edits in the description, it’s technically not posting it on here, the mods don’t have to worry about having to take care of a bunch of “low quality edits” (even if I think they are just being lazy fucks) and people still get their nude edits

Unfortunately there's no way to learn that the link has been added except by actively looking up the pictures frequently. It would be easier to notice if the link was added in a comment, at least the thumbnail would show that there's been a new one.
