BlockedIt's not a direct trace, but it is heavily influenced by this image.

MemberProportions are different, elements are not positioned the same way.
You're right ! It's not tracing, just the same pose.
Glevna
MemberIt is not a trace. The two are broadly similar. Trace is when if you put the two drawings on top of each other the main lines are exactly the same, only minor details differ.
And besides, Jeremeh is a good artist who doesn't need to trace, and we know that. You can usually spot traced work very easily because, for example, the anatomy is great, but shading, coloring and the details added by the tracer are visibly worse.

Memberumm, no...
Nobody OWNS a pose.
If they traced an image, then it would have been removed. Referencing art is common practice. EVERY artist has done it to some extent, at some time.
The image linked above is SIGNIFICANTLY DIFFERENT from the actual posted image.
The mods have already reacted to the reports, and as they should, they have been denied.
Jovo
MemberKeep up the work, as you develop your style and learn the best ways to make your art stand out, references will be less and less needed.
All artists use references, whether its other art, or IRL examples, its how we learn.
Dont be discouraged by the other commenters. Use it as inspiration to develop your style more. Think of referencing as a way to improve your base and do effort on your own to improve on the referenced parts.
Have a good day!

MemberHey y'all. I can confirm Jeremeh isn't a tracer, but... still, here's a bunch of pics (full and partial pieces) where they've used heavy reference of my work in kinda obvious ways.

I wouldn't mind this happening once or twice, or if it was credited! I use references all the time...from lots of different artists, with a lot of personal interpretation to make it my own. But, i'm a little worried he's relying a bit too heavily on my work. They're still a beginner artist, and already have a lot of talent: I just ask that if they keep going this, to avoid more comment sections like this, they should at least start crediting references. Much love

JanitorThis does explain that fucking eerie feeling when I have been seeing and approving this artist. Thing is that usually when going trough the posts, we go with kinda gut feel and if the posts raise red flags, we start investigating what is happening.
The problem is that to count as a trace, the linework has to match. So couple cases where I did start comparing the linework nothing matched, but the style and posing were still almost identical.
Then another problem is that we do have flag for traced artwork here, so these will most likely be flagged many many times in future as well and people will most likely continue arguing in individual posts comments. I'll try to forward people to this comment from other posts when that happens. Really appreciate the cold head, sometimes things like this get really heated.

MemberI know im late but.... *you do know how much stuff is roughly the same right?*
Does this mean all stuff in the missionary position is "Traced"?
