Summer time was a mixed bag for Sherri, her pure ebony fur made all those warm rays soak up into her skin to the point she was practically baked by the time she got inside her home. However the best days were when the sun was out, a little bit of a cloud, and a slight breeze could roll through her fur and cool her body with the droplets of sweat she’d accumulated. This was one of those days and she was more than enthusiastic about going for her daily jog right before the sun rose to its highest point that day.

Her trainers clapped against the smoothed pavement on the track in the local park that was hosted by the nearby community college. It was a soothing view of nature and the trees and fauna that accompanied it, each breath she took filled her lungs with oxygen and her nostrils with the scent of flowers that went perfectly with her runner’s high. She rounded the corner that would start the path over again near the community college where it was mostly abandoned of students.

Her legs started to slow as she entered a cooldown phase, she could really feel the strain on her muscles all over her body now that the high was starting to wear off. One of her ritualistic inhales didn’t provide her with the sweet flavor of lavender this time, instead she caught something that almost stopped her in her tracks. Her cheeks started to flush as she caught the aroma of something definitely masculine, she swallowed hard as she tried to ignore it but the flavor was almost intoxicating. She knew it was a bad idea to go out jogging when she was in heat...

    I've never liked stuff being put behind paywalls like that. Perhaps that's just the most profitable. I'd never try to make a living solely being an artist, though, no matter how good I was.
