News: Feb 26, 2025 Show

Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.

Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.

Please help spread the word about this issue and encourage others to take action.
Further information on the bill itself can be found at the Free Speech Coalition: https://action.freespeechcoalition.com/bill/arizona-hb-2112/

  • The artist gave me permission to upload this, "as long as it's stated that this was based on witnessing an actual person." So here's the "backstory":

When I mailed off a letter today at the post office, I was shocked at seeing a tall, skinny blond woman wearing a Nazi T-shirt.

Not everyday one see's somebody wearing a Nazi t-shirt, even more odd, a female. Even the black cargo pants and red laced boots.

I looked at her, and said "Nice public Faux paus you got there!"

She just swore something at me under her breath and walked past me.

Pity she was such a bitch, She actually was somewhat attractive. But thats no excuse for being a stupid bitch who insists wearing such an obvious sign of hate. I regret not having my phone with me to photograph her, so I instead, drew her up. She had a very Doe-like features about her, so thats why I chose a deer.

Thing that shocks me is that folks like her just don't 'advertise' here in Madison. She must not be from the area.

  • Well with the backstory, it makes it not as bad.

Though if I was the artist, I wouldn't even taint my drawing hand.

  • I was really really angry when I saw this, then I saw the backstory and was okay with it being drawn. Still, it's horrible. >.<

I'm relieved to hear that. I recently spoke with an artist who claimed that provocation through art has become very difficult. No matter what you create, he said, people will just go "meh, it's been done."

  • How does Nazi Furrys call themselfes agin? Furzis? In German sounds it like someone just did Farted.

    Furz = Fart
Furzis = minimization of the word Fart

  • If the back story is true, I think it should be appreciated how incredibly courageous and tough, if misguided, this female is.

  • You know... initially when I saw this on the front, I had the mind to make the comments "I hit her, in so many ways." Just to poke at the fact that while, personally, I am one of many ethnically backgrounds, most of which are hated groups among said party, I figured the doe would attractive.

I find it almost appropriately ironic now that I see the story behind it, because even with the obvious contempt you'd believe someone of my background would have, I found the good of a situation, without even needing the story to make best of a otherwise very negative situation.

Actually Furzis was the first (and only) nazi furry group that resided in a game called "second Life" Unfortunitly, the group was disbanded cause the jewish and communist group on second life both teamed up against it...hasnt been a nazi furry group ever since...so no...nazi furries arent called firzis, just nazi furries like meh. 卍

If it's a nazi, and with red laces, run away bro. Red laces with nazis means they beaten up or killed a person of the minorities.

  • It's a bit amusing to me; there's a German word, "backpfeifengesicht," which roughly means "a person with a face badly in need of a fist."

The particular example of humanity from this piece fits that description well.
