Perhaps, but they're still a guild of adventurers. I'd write it off as an RPG thing.

Or you could think of it as sort of like a semblance from RWBY. Pretty sure I remember that dog Zwei having aura, so that wouldn’t be such a shot in the dark. Plus it makes sense considering aura is a thing in the Pokémon world and this one is semi based on the Pokémon one.

Ahh, I love RWBY, even Vol. 4-7! Though, I will say things went a little downhill after Monty died. On the upside, when fights DID happen, they were always something quite special! A little treat for waiting through all that exposition! And that was really just with Vol. 4 and 5, as they mercifully started giving us more and more action as they went on!
