  • The least weeby mechs are the best change my mind, also wow, this is really good! The detailing must've had so much effort put into it, it really is quite lovely

    Fite me fugboy!

I'd say it depends, I mean the Barbatos I liked a lot.

But otherwise I really liked the Zakus from the original anime.

Never watched IBO, but isn't Barbatos more grounded? Closer to RX-78-2, not to the ridiculous things like 00 Raiser or Wing Zero?

Maybe Spoilers if you care to watch it or not.

Yes what I remember it is more grounded, but they do outfit it so much that at least lightly going through the wiki page for it it might have had a flying ver. Unless you mean how realistic it is? Then well... I think it depends, the idea is that you can only pilot if you go through a operation that only children/teens can go through which leaves most permanently paralyzed. But it syncs to the pilot's mind allowing it combat ability no other human can do unless they have their own Gundamframe(There's like 8 and Barbatos is 1 of them). Which gives the pilot a similar nickname to the OG Gundam pilot Amuro's 'White Devil' moniker. But I think it's more agile then RX-78-2 and allows more complex movement with what I remember of IBO and what I've seen with OG Gundam series.

But it has been a few years since I've watched it, but it and Gundam Wing are the only 2 I've finished and I'm still watching the original. I'm a big fan but not a massive one unfortunately.

They can take a nuke level impact to the face and still be operational while being all but immune to beam weaponry, as amount of time it would take to actually get effective damage (through the motherfuking paint!) with that type of weapon would have long since had the person with the beam gun dead.

Agreed. I only have like three gundam frame mobile suit models. Most of my models are GMs and such. I cant help but love them like I know gundams are supposed to be the main focus but damn. We need a episode or two of some up coming anime where a customized massie just ASSFUCKS a hero suit.

All of the mobile suits have that coating as standard issue and I would say a MASSIVE FUCKING ROD OF METAL being launched from orbit(while not being as deadly as a nuke) did more than enough damage to the barbatos frame at the end there.

    But jesta wasnt mass produced

It's a moded Jegan, so not that far from the production line. And, still, not a hero mech.

I mean yeah its a modded jegan but you could say that the RGM-79 its just a modded gundam by that logic, besides im pretty sure it has like 20 units produced at max, still i really love the jesta, i even got the jesta HGUC model kit for this xmas lol

Nah, man. Jesta is like a Group A Rally car. Seats are ripped out, a roll cage is installed and the engine is turbocharged, but it's basically the same car.
RGM-79 is like a civilian version of GT-40. It looks roughly the same as the Le Mans car, but it's like comparing an AT4 Rocket Launcher to a drainage pipe. Both look roughly the same, but one will hurt you more than the other.
