What's the over/under on the Templars literally summoning Satan?

Because I might just take that bet.

From what I gather: power, unadulterated power

  • So hold on, is the Chimaera a literal fusion of the three, or was she made through some Frankenstein-esque vivisection? As if the kidnapping wasn't bad enough, I am now neck-deep in Fridge Horror territory.

This is indeed a disturbing universe.

  • I thought he just reanimated a body with recently deceased kiedrans not make them amputees. Though it's probably the scientist doing the limb lobbing old Trace may not have known or cared about how it was made.

Actually if there is talk of a peace treaty Old Trace may have expected already dead bodies to be used. Either way the universe is quite the horror show when Templars are involved.

0 to infinity, given Satan doesn’t exist in this world. Or any incarnation of pure evil.

  • Everyone else is disturbed by the method of acquisition while I'm more creeped out about the name of the scientist, Eris.
In mythology Eris was the goddess of discord and chaos, and she LOVED the mayhem caused by wars. Any of her creations that didn't please her were DISPOSED of.

    The Masks.

Who represent Chaos, Neutrality, and Order. And have a factional bais towards humanity, Keidran, and Basitin, respectively. There is nothing inherently evil in any of them.

"Bias towards" are the key words. And what of dragons, lizardmen, pixies, etc.

    Also, it's Disorder, NOT Chaos.

Nora is the closest thing to a Mask for Dragons, while the others just don't have a Mask associated with them.

And it is Chaos. How would you know otherwise?

Chaos is a combination of both order and mayhem/disorder. Take a look at the symbol for Yin-Yang.
