Why?

I think you might be thinking of Boggart, with the yellow eyes. We saw him try to stop Micco from confronting Jonsey in the restaurant. Later, he was very shaken when looking at Shicks' remains and thinking about how he could have been in the same position -- which I think contributed to him snitching on Micco and Swab after he failed to convince them that attacking Jonsey was a bad idea.

Boggart seems to have some good values, but all Shicks has done is defend Bowser (who's obviously corrupt) and rape Noctua.

I know the difference very well. Its likely only from having seen more of Micco‘S hostile+rapy behavior than much of Shicks (which at the time I didn’t even know what “fraternizing” had to do with getting killed)
(That and a wolf bias)
