After being passed around between various Skaven on the march back, Hemlock eventually found himself in the service of Warlord Lock. If he had thought the other Skaven were cruel, Lock just might be the worst one he'd met. But then you don't get far in the Skaven hierarchy with kindness.

It seems the Warlord has taken a shine to him though, always keeping him nearby to perform the lazy rat's cleaning rituals and to show him off to his underlings. And as much as he complains, it hasn't taken long for Hemlock to adjust to his new life...

The worst part was getting used to being the Warlord's personal toilet. Skaven piss tastes exactly as bad as one might expect, but when it's all you're allowed to drink... Well what choice does he have?
