I'm not sure how to put this best, but... I kind of miss when Tanraak was less skilled. I mean, this looks great, and it's really impressive what they pulled off here. This is a creature with really complex anatomy, and it's entirely black latex and glossy highlights, and it still looks good and is instantly readable. Not a lot of artists could do that.

But... it's kind of... indulgent? It's like there's just a bit of visual punch that's missing that used to be there. I'm really happy that the artist is still drawing a decent amount of relatively simpler stuff that still shows off their skill, like post #2219787, it's just that back when they either weren't trying to pull off something this complex (for instance post #615287) or were very occasionally trying and failing (post #615354), I knew that I would enjoy nearly everything that they drew.

i agree, someone may think thatvher design is's a bit too much stuff for one character but drawing quality remains amazing nonetheless, i like it btw
