Just a personal gripe about the colouring style. Why do some artists get into the habit of adding shine to furry bodies? It looks more like skin instead of fur.

Yeah you're right, although it does that-personally I like it, it's a nice lighting effect. If it wasn't there, it'd really look like skin-look at hands for instance, that detail all over body. Personally, as far as a fur effect, I think it's done best in 3D pieces. I do a little bit of modeling/animating and I find it works much better there than like this instance. (for me at least)
