Everybody grows up and gets to that point where they realize their parents' ideals aren't the same as their own.

I had this feeling before, but after what Amun's said I'm certain that Monique probably wasn't too comfortable with having her son go out to visit his other mom -- who was nothing more than a past fling. And in that same vein, especially now, I feel that Monique would not approve of Amun's relationship with Kyra.

I don't even like incest but this story takes place in a world so fictional that I'm not even bothered by it. Not turned on either, though. I'm just here because I find the character development very interesting. That's how you know the artist did a good job making the story!

Actually, his age has been specified on both his original and revamped reference sheets. Amon is 19.
