    It's not HP, it's affection(which goes up to 255)-in the first picture she didn't like him, after getting boned a lot she does.

    なつき度 translates to "degree of emotional attachment" wich refers to the in-game measurement of how much a Pokémon is attached to its Trainer and enjoys being in their care; it is known as "Frienship level" in the english translation of the games.
