I'm curious to see how those horns fit into the helmet.

I've got a whole thing detailing how it works.

You put on the aventail first and let it rest on your shoulders. Followed by the bascinet itself. You then pin on the lower visor portion into place. Raid the and attach the aventail to the helmet. Then you can add the upper visor when ever you wish, since it's got two pins you can open it sideways as well. Though it can also lift. Antlers can be sawn off for full functionality, although is not required for use. Put on the orle and if you want to look fancy, then add the verveille cover and add ribbons to antlers.

Fixed the link for you: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/36043367/

Fascinating stuff. Thanks for the answer.

Yeh there you go, and of course. I get asked fairly often. I spent a good while to decide on what help to use and how to make it, I went though a few versions before which you can also find in the "armor" tab under the picture before I decided on the final version.

And I am glad to answer stuff.

As a medieval enthusiast, I love armor and I've always thought about how it would look like with anthropomorphic characters, you did a great job !
Also gg for knowing Knyght Errant :p
Just a question, why would you put padding above your mail ? It will get damaged by cuts

That is actually just an artistic error. There is no other mail other then the aventail.. other then maybe mail gloves, but I hadn't added those

  • This pic is epic! I work a little bit on how i do armor for my character. Arlon exists in more of a high-fantasy ancient Greek vibe so his armor would look very different (My current pfp is a very rough approximation of how the character might look in his armor but it is by no means final)

Never really put him in a helmet though, always thought a corinthian helmet on an anthro would look wonkier than it's worth. But i might be able to pull of a medieval helmet like that one at some point in the future.
