We do have completely seperate section in uploading guidelines for advertisement stuff, you can feel free to read that if you want to.
Basically as long as the post is not directly selling you stuff and the focus is on the artwork, it's fine to stay. Posts can still contain advertisement in them, including URLs to crowdfunding platforms and there are tags for almost all of these things (advertisement, patreon (when logo is visible), url, watermark, etc.).

You could argue that when there's text to get a full product in the corner rather than simply URL that it counts more as advertisement, but I still see the main focus being primarily in really high resolution and quality 3D animation render and don't see any particular reason to delete this.

Over a minute of HD video with audio is not exactly fit for a GIF. Not only would it lack sound, but would additionally be visually inferior and filesize would be couple gigabytes, way over 20MB limit of e621.

If you meant that this should've simply been a couple second loop instead of minute long video, then yeah, I can definitely see that would've most likely been more ideal for this.
When the video is a minute long, you do get bit more expectations for it. In addition to this, the watermarking saying to get a full thing elsewhere takes 10 seconds to appear, meaning it's not in thumbnail and you are already partially invested into watching which you assumed to be a full video. After this, the base loop doesn't have that much variation to it to justify the playtime.

This. Even if rules do not demand tagging and only require at least 4 applicable tags, people here are additionally constantly required to blacklist material they do not want to see and without the necessary tags the blacklist simply will not work.

Advertisement is one of those tags many might be blacklisting, so tagging it is beneficial to everyone.

post #2438461 was similarly falsely flagged to be paid material, by now unactivated user, but I unflagged and approved it in similar fashion to this post.

Just as PSA reminder again: paysite/commercial content flag is for leaked and pirated material, it's not for advertisements for paid material. I pretty commonly report these kind of flags to admins, considering that this can be considered as abuse of flag tools and is taking time from other more crusial cases. If post falls under our advertisement guidelines, it will get deleted when staff member gets to the post, I'm certain everyone here should survive without harm from seeing a single ad with maybe some mild annoyance.

I'd be careful about saying things like this. This is easily interpreted as "you can upload your advertisements on here instead of paying for ad space as long as you render in HD and have small text"

Well, anyone can read the official guidelines about advertising on guidelines and we can enforce them if it does start to seem like people are just bypassing stuff.
However in this post? Nah, even if that was big watermark at the end instead of small text on side, this would've been more than passable. Even before the current advertisement guidelines I have stated, that if people hate the post because of it being advertisement done bad, that's mostly on the advertiser and artist at that point at sucking with their PR and you are free to hate there's advertisements uploaded here. Hell, I uploaded one myself at post #2448811 and people love it.

Also I was commenting more on the notion that if there is upload which is clear plain advertisement like YCH with prices or someones commission sheet, what I was saying that seeing those shouldn't harm anyone here and when they are obvious, staff will handle them in 2 seconds when they get to it. That's why flagging posts like that so staff needs to take their time to figure the situation out, takes time away from stuff like actual paid material leaks for example, which need to be handled ASAP.
