Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.
Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.
Please help spread the word about this issue and encourage others to take action.
Further information on the bill itself can be found at the Free Speech Coalition: https://action.freespeechcoalition.com/bill/arizona-hb-2112/

JanitorSo,
I can definitely believe this can legit happen with a toy, I had one cheaper one which just went in half with couple uses.
I can also believe this to happen with Bad Dragon stuff, as I have Perry, which did get tear from first use, that thing is unrealistically tight even for people with smaller than avarage junk.
But Natascha is pretty avarage/bit loose and I have only seen Bad Dragon stuff tear at most, not literally split in half, so even I have to call slight bshit here.
Of course the material they use for these toys is and feels differend from many other dedicated brands, so preferences are fine. I feel like the butts from Bad dragon work the best because of the bit more firm material, but if you want that soft feel try out fleshlight or tenga.

MemberI'm 8.7 Inches and about 3/4 the width of a drinks can and my Natasha still works just fine.
It's probably just a very unlucky product that had some near surface air bubbles.

MemberWish I could afford other models. I only recently realized that BD toys can tear at all. I've had my Lily for years with practically no wear and tear. (Then again I don't use it much)

MemberThey definitely tear. I had one of the original ones before they seemed to switch to a different silicone and a newer one, both have gotten small tears. They don't seem to tear much after that initial one though. Oh well.
Amythyst
MemberI think it tore because he knotted it.

MemberThey absolutely do tear. If you have a pussy toy though they'll always tear vertically (along the labia) rather than horizontally, because it's the weakest spot. Picture is inaccurate in that sense.
I have a Sofia and I'm fairly well endowed, it's inevitable that it was going to split at some point. Amusingly enough though, being gentle and using lube (just like you would a real pussy) is the way to keep it in good shape for as long as possible.

MemberI used to have a Janine's muzzle and after one use it already had a tear in the corner of the mouth. Contacted BD about it and they said ''We know about the quality issues but we can't do anything about it because the material needs to be this soft''. And then they had the audacity to only give me a $20 coupon.
I threw it (the muzzle) out a few weeks later because the tear just kept getting bigger and bigger.

MemberGuys who are actually that big dont brag about it on the internet.

MemberYeah, I think they at most break/ tear at the point where the material is the thinnest - which is not the case at the sides but along th opening. I cant imagine how breaking in half like in the image could ever work.

MemberAll silicone based penetratables will eventually tear with use. Just depends on how much the maker accounted for tearing in both susceptibility and how much the tearing effects the use of the toy. They almost always tear at "pinch points" or where there are sharper angles, though even true circles can and will still tear with use. BD only very recently started to account for both in their new designs. Their maws are particularly susceptible to tearing and have designs were tearing really really matters. Google silicone toy repair and almost all the results are either about someone nicking a toy with their nails or a BD maw toy. I'm about average girth and literally all my toys have eventually torn, I have multiple different makers too, not just BDs. As stated above lubing and being gentle does help to an extent. If you are trying to buy I think the best longevity tip is to go for toys were tearing doesn't matter much.
Though all of that is irrelevant because silicone based toys don't come in those plastic shells. Those are only for softer toys that cannot retain a full shape without the extra support, and tend to be made out of non body safe materials. They also are much more likely to have fungal or bacterial growth even with careful cleaning. So do yourself a favor and get a good silicone toy.
