  • I may be looking into this too much, but are the colors a representation of sin and holiness? You have a certain character-- adorned with black outer markings(could symbolize evil or alienation)-- eventually start to turn others to their ways through temptation.

    It reminds me of The Scarlet A, where the individual was actually innocent. Either or, I like the way the comic is going.

  • When referencing Samea the "she" is capitalized.

    I wonder if this is on purpose. Like, it has to be capitalized just like a name does because of their Goddess' power and influence.

    It is pretty common in most Abrahamic religious scripture, actually. As an example with the bible God is referenced as He, or Him - etc. Capitalized at all times as a sign of respect.
