Description blows, Moving a huge ass 1930’s car with no power steering at super low speeds is not a easy task

You do know what a joke is right?

Do you know what a joke is either? That sentence was a failed attempt at trying to make fun of using a outdated piece of machinery because the character is lacking strength. That is not a joke. Its just using ones misfortune to seem comical

Apparently you don't. The driver just happens to be a DEER.
You know, the animal most responsible for car wrecks?

Still using a stereotype to seem like it’s something to be made fun of, it isn’t comical it’s a depiction of taking something tragic and trying to make it into a amusement for people. That’s sad af

He was only going 10mph. No real danger there.

But still using a deer as a comparison to make fun of car accidents even at 10 miles per hour is not comedic, it’s just a poor attempt at trying to seem funny

WHAT ACCIDENT!?!? He didn't crash, he only went off the road.

  • Okay, before everyone downvotes this comment into oblivion, let me preface it by stating, yes, I get that it's supposed to be a joke. And I do find it humorous. However, justafurfag has a solid point, if I may elaborate on it.

    1) Hladilnik's character Deer Prince is a slim fellow with a slight build. He's not exactly the pinnacle of masculine strength and stature.

    2) The car in question, a 1929 Bentley 4 1/2 Litre Blower LeMans, is a notoriously difficult car to drive.
    A) The car weighs about 4200 pounds.
    B) No power steering, which can be problematic at low speeds.
    C) It has a 4-speed manual transmission with no synchros, and a cone-type manual clutch.
    D) The additional weight of the supercharger is ahead of the front axle, which causes the car to tend to understeer, exacerbating the low speed steering problems.
To properly handle the car, it requires a great deal of upper body strength.

    3) It appears that this particular combination of car and driver created a "perfect storm" for just the scene depicted.

Again, it's funny, and ironic, but given the character, inevitable.
