No, the only way to get infected with a G-embryo is to get implanted by someone infected with the G-virus. At most you could potentially get infected by the T-virus if you have sex with a zombie dog.

the insertion and a couple of humps stimulate him so it becomes erect, and it gets 'locked'/'tied' because the entrance is much smaller than the knot.

if knotting was about pushing the fully inflated knot inside, then it would stretch the vagina enough that it could just be pulled out relatively easily (at least if we ignore that the entrance of the vagina allegedly contracts to help with the 'tie'). think of knotted dildos - the hard part is to get it inside, which is the opposite of how real knots are supposed to work.

if my conversations with usually (if not always) non-artists, as the one above, reflect what the artists know about knotting, then few people (or rather: basically nobody) do knotting right, because few people know how to do it right.

I disagree, I personally love watching knotting, and I know plenty of others who do as well. The reason that I've heard why most aren't that well done is that its a tricky thing to make look natural.

There was a thing in one of the earlier games that describes a rather interesting experiment.
I think it was for the creation of the Chimera, that they implanted the T-Virus Infection (sperm cell, I'm pretty sure) into a healthy human egg. Well. To no surprise giving birth to a Chimera is fatal, and it was probably kept highly secret.

It's limited to one specific game and may be cut out of different regions or the like, so it's probably unofficial, especially with the remakes.

The little lick at the end really makes it, a bit of affection. Still a doggo deep down.
