Sorry to disappoint you, but from the reference sheet we have of her, it's very clear that she does not have a pseudo-penis.

This...Is pretty much exactly how I figured these two would engage. It was either that, or he was the bouncer where she worked.

I'm not disappointed at all. Given how other artists have depicted sharks and hyenas though, I was expecting there to be a sort of "it's a trap" twist.

I would say anywhere between 1500 and 1700, because Blacksmithing was invented in 1500 and since there are no signs of modern steam machines, at least in this panel, the Industrial Revolution hasn't began yet, which was around halfway through the 1700s.
