  • Clip-art censorship is so tacky. Doing some kind of easy to remove natural censorship in the picture for a nude alt would have been much more honest and tantalizing, even.

  • Had this pic been uploaded previously without the censoring? I've got a comment in my history that talks about a good pretty on-model Master Tigress pic but the image itself has been deleted.

Either way this image is awesome, shame the uncensored version is behind a paywall.

im just gonna leave this right here ( [Link removed] )

People like you ruin art for others. There is a reason artists put some of their art behind a paywall. Linking content that would otherwise need to be paid for not only supports pirating/stealing, but can also lead to artists becoming so disheartened that they could decide to just not share/post any of their art at all anymore. I mean, what is the point if someone is just going to essentially "steal" it from you so you end up losing dozens of potential customers, right?

This is just my opinion, and I get it won't be shared by everybody. But honestly, there's no way a single clickbait image like this will convince me to subscribe a recurring payment to anybody (in this case starting at €5 a month +VAT). I do subscribe to an artist whose work is on this site on Patreon, but that was after seeing a lot of their art on here, and wanting it in higher quality. That artists' art on here is complete, uncropped, uncensored just of a consciously lower resolution. You want the higher quality, they want some payment in exchange, which I can respect, but what is here is worthy of being uploaded to an art archive.

This image in this post on the other hand while already a fraction of the resolution of the Patreon version, which is fair enough, goes unnecessarily further and adds those ugly clipart censors to it which just stand out like a sore thumb in addition, and just makes the thing function now only as a clickbait ad for Favlie's Patreon, which I don't really think is what e621 is meant to be for. In fact I think there's a rule specifically against advertising in there. If you're expected to pay for it, being able to see exactly what you're paying for (in terms of content) doesn't seem an unreasonable ask, or at the very least make what is uploaded a serviceable bit of art in its own right. As Taeron said further up, if you absolutely have to put a censored version up, just upload a version with some easy to remove clothing layer - then what is here is still decent artwork, rather than just a tacky Patreon clickbait.

I get what you're saying, but it's a fallacy to say that everyone who clicked that r34 link means a lost sale for Falvie, honestly, in much the same way that everyone who's ever downloaded Photoshop has meant that's a sale lost to Adobe. That's not how it works, simply because of the people who click/download, the majority of them would never have purchased it in the first place.

But I grant that's just my opinion, and it won't be shared by everyone. In an ideal world nobody would pirate anything, but that's just not how the Internet is.

  • I like how someone went through the trouble of deleting the comment with the link to the uncensored, but left all of the replies that still have the link. I literally just copied and pasted the link into my browser and got it. might as well have not deleted it in the first place

But to be fair, despite the nice art, Falvie deserved this. She takes money and ran off, never making and submitting commissions. Now if she had a change of heart, maybe I'd see the issue, but until then, I support people Robin Hooding art behind paywalls.
