MemberSomebody explain the joke please!
Lurkius
MemberIt's a reference to a famous quest in the game called One Small Favour. It starts off with an NPC asking you for a favour, to fetch some red mahogany logs from his nearby friend. But that friend wants a favour in exchange for the logs, and so does the next person, and the next person. In the end you have to travel across the entire world helping out over a dozen NPCs to complete what was meant to be a short task.
Reian
MemberThanks for explaining. So it's basically a reference to One Red Paperclip, is what I'm gathering.
Moonlit Wolf
MemberI know someone who once ran a DnD campaign which was basically that premise, except with Greek gods =O
Wolfox Lykos
MemberTechnically the quest came out before that. It's more of a reference to the Ed, Edd n Eddy episode where they need to trade sawdust for a chicken egg and have to do a series of trades.
Nightly Prince
MemberQuest was a pain in the ass all the same.
