    I'm so not feeling Twilight's role here. Pinkie Pie is the epitome of throwing out logic (and she'd make a better Kamina for it). Fluttershy's close to Simon at the beginning of the series.

    I think that filly Pinkie is a better analogue for Simon than Fluttershy.

    Yeah, the parallel works out better that way. could probably shift Kamina over to RD, since the rainboom indirectly brought the group together, the same way Kamina builds Team Dai-Gurren.
