Prototyping (Alt)

Alt version of this picture with the machine arm removed. A few people commented that it looked a bit like it was coming out of Nidhala's head, and I honestly can't argue, it does kinda give that impression. Since it took all of 5 minutes to remove the arm and adjust Sy's pose to something that works without a giant dildo in her mouth, I decided to make those tweaks and then fire it up to render while I eat dinner.

Here it is, for those who didn't like the inspector gadget lizard illusion, I hope this improves things for you. :P

  • Oh wow, I can’t believe you made this using Blender...How did you less the render time? Did you use cycle engine or eevee? And stupid question, did you model the character by yourself? Using mouse or graphics tablet??

Pasting the answer here as well so people here can see it too:

This was done in Cycles. There are a lot of tricks you can do to reduce render time- modelling only the parts of the room that are visible, reducing the number of light bounces, faking certain effects like glass... I could try and go into them all, but you'd be better served by just checking out this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8gSyEpt4-60

Goes over a lot of what I try to do. That said, fur is slow. Render time on this image was still very long! If you want to get into making models with particle fur, be prepared to exercise your patience.

I did model both characters by myself, yep! They were done entirely in blender, and -almost- entirely using a mouse. I very occasionally pick up a tablet to do some fine detail here and there while sculpting because hey, I have one so why not use it, but you really don't need one to make characters like these. If you get into some really super detailed stuff it might be useful, but for the majority of character making I really think you can do it just fine with a mouse. I use one most of the time anyway.

Well done, your characters are great, something really sexy and sensual, awesome artwork. Thank you.
