Spoiler: He was never gay, he just said that to trick her into bed.

Considering all the character's previous pictures are straight, this is lore accurate.

I remeber this was posted on r/yiff and tons of people had a fit over it lmfao

Kinda understandable, since it plays into "You're not gay, you just haven't met the right girl yet".
I for one don't like my porn reminding me of my insecurities.

    Other than that, super hot.

Straight people got the same thing, no reason to cry over pornography anyway

Not really, if straight-to-gay stuff is okay then gay-to-straight stuff should be too. That's just double standards.

Well, I'm not a fan of straight-to-gay either, since both of them are sexual "conversion" tropes and I'm of the opinion that that shit is not cool. It can certainly be done in a non-gross way (more sexual awakening than conversion, just generally a less... sharp, I guess, tone), but that usually involves the kind of buildup and explanation you don't get in single-image art. Certainly not without blanketing the panel in word balloons.

But, there's also the question of the power dynamic involved. Due to the historical/still-ongoing in places persecution of gays, you're going to see a stronger negative reaction to gay-to-straight art since it can (and at times does) send the probably entirely unintended message as bd_sandpaper covered.

And it may not be the intention AT ALL, and that's awesome! Intention is in fact worth a lot. But how it winds up being taken is worth more. You always gotta consider how art is received, not just intended, because if you weren't making this for an audience it wouldn't have been uploaded publicly in the first place.

Due to that pre-established power dynamic thanks to persecution and social pressure, you gotta be more careful with how you handle displaying and discussing sexual minorities if you don't want to be an asshole. That's not a COMPLAINT, it's a fact. People who've been burned too badly or too much have every right to be cautious about the possibility of fire.

I know you shouldnt be thinking that much about furry porn but the dude can actually just be discovering more about his sexuality, and i highly doubt she forced him to fuck her.

I know you might think you are doing gay people a favour with this but you are possibly not - at least not for everyone. I like to
compare these kinds of debates with talks about black/white racism because it's essentially very similar. You don't get to decide how you're born and
people are being treated poorly because of a thing they have no control over.
And I've seen talks from like.. I'll call them seriously professional SJWs now because I lack a proper turn and this suffices to paint a picture of what I mean and
they made the point that as soon as you acknowledge their need for "social justice" you become part of the problem, because you too, get to think they are a powerless minority.

You can't do anything right for everyone.
And that is exactly why nobody should get offended by a non-targeted anthropomorphic furry porn image cartoon on the internet or even feel insulted towards
their personal sexuality - which btw is not defined by what kind of porn you watch but by what kind of real people you stick your dick in. (taking males as an example for the sake of the picture)
Most people on here are probably desensitized by "normal" stuff and start watching everything they usually didn't before. I guess that's how most people land on this site anyway.

In my personal humble opinion we have worse things to worry about than what other people beat their meat to and especially why they like to do so.

And now go on people. This is not a philosophy blog, it's porn. Enjoy yourselves.

Eh, it can be both. There's some great comments and discussions buried around here and there. As for myself, I have a bad habit of playing devil's advocate because I overthink everything, which is why all of my posts are either multiparagraph constructs or like one-line jokeposts. But I like to think, what can I say?

You make great points, too. Thanks for giving me a serious reply!

Ok this can go for the whole thread itself here but I did some digging and heres why I found out. This was actually a commission. I visited the guy who commissioned this and his profile claims that hes gay and even joke about how she did the impossible. So the artist is in no way being homophobic, Its just a inside joke between the two that none of us gets. Just something to add on to this especially since no one else here really pointed it out

You know that’s called Bisexual right? There are lots of people who are attracted to both sexes and all genders, and it’s not double standards. It is erasure of these identities and the narrative that you can only be attracted to one sex or gender.

"gay to straight" and "straight to gay" are different tags from bisexual even if they're functionally similar, same with "orientation play". Straight to gay is a character who previously was straight or had no stated sexuality and assumed they were straight realizing they're gay, which happens to alot of gay people before they come out of the closet in real life. "Gay to straight" rarely happens IRL and IRL is usually someone bi-curious realizing they're not into gay sex, but in fiction is a gay person banging someone of the opposite gender so hot it makes them change teams. Bisexual is of course someone who's into both girls and guys rather than just being attracted to one and is what typically happens IRL when someone realizes they're not just into 1 gender. You're applying real life logic to a drawing of an anthropomorphic male gay snow leopard banging a female husky dog, we passed real life logic a few stops back.
