Tanta is definitely at least an adopted daughter or a stepdaughter to him. But I'm thinking she's probably his biological daughter since Zaush has gone there plenty of times before. My guess based on the dialogue is that her parents are separated to some degree since Tanta's father asks if her mother knows they have sex, which she apparently is in the dark about at the moment. I don't think it will matter soon anyway, because Tanta's bargain is definitely going to be submitting herself to being a sex slave so her territory won't be invaded or something.
