Uh, this comic appears to be in another pool that I don't think it belongs in?

Artist calls it a horror comic and I'm just sitting here wishing I could get 2 fully detailed pics of my OC in less than a day from an artist for free :(

I think "grooming" might work in more than one way.

So, wait... I thought this was a real fox but is this actually just a lady wearing gloves and a fursuit head, but the head can show her emotions somehow?
Or is this just how the artist is choosing to portray her but she doesn't actually look like that, and it's more of a metaphor thing?

im hoping actual fox because that means humans and anthros coexisting.

but lurkmore has it pretty right "grooming"/pedophilic activities.
and yet...no one will really see a problem as it seems to be an older female and a younger male.

As a woman, the fact that sexual harassment and assault is so diminished and so lesser-punished when it is against a male victim -- well, it just sickens me, to say the least.

Perhaps it's a sort-of interpretation of how Leto see's her? That being a mishmash of her fuursona and her human body?... Maybe? Cause I really have no other explanation for this egyptian god pedophile lookin ass.

I was thinking it may be something metaphorical like that. Like, she is portrayed to us as how she appears to the main character's perception.

Are the black speech bubbles supposed to be the 'warning' language? Because I'm getting that feeling instead of it being spoken in a different tone.

If nobody sees a problem with it, they're part of the problem. As someone who never told their parents about being in the fandom, and did some questionable things both as a young teen (14+) and as a young adult (18-20), I do hope that future generations are able to be both more open with their parents, and parents more accepting of their children.

I'm of the opinion that the furry fandom by itself is relatively safe for younger members (provided that older members keep things SFW around them), however there will always be those who have no intention of being decent human beings. I do believe that sooner or later, we will need to collectively "rip the bandaid off" and have an uncomfortable, yet serious discussion about the subject.

...I didn't intend to write an essay, but here we are, I guess.

Looks like I don't have one. All I've seen so far was Reth being wholesome and supportive. I wouldn't think about this grooming stuff If it's wasn't explicitly stated in description (In fact, I've just learned what "grooming" means). And since protagonist actually hit puberty even if they meet IRL that could be healthy consensual sexual experience. What's so dark and horror-like about this comic? Except arrogant parents maybe. No-one's getting hurt in any way... well except Howl with his self harm fetish.

Maybe is the fact that she is showing porn to a minor, wich is a crime. If it's not a crime, then is something fucked up anyway
