You really shouldn't use the magazine of the rifle as a grip, it significantly increases the chance of a malfunction.

If you push the magazine like that it maybe have some feed problems, not always but it may happen. That's because the tip of the round in the magazine can be not correctly aligned with the feeding ramp, so the round may get stuck before it get into the chamber.

facts. unless you have an actual magwell to grip, you might as well keep your hands off the magazine unless you actually need to reload.
