as far as mom knows its the ghost of Clifford and she bought it some dog toys and wants to give it a name like people normally would. surprised the lil girl's bedroom isn't covered in crayon pictures of the ghost so mom could tell it was more of a dinosaur-esque creature.

i find it dubious that "Neri" would be on a list of cool names someone thought up for a dog, she said "we" but the girl was clearly surprised by the naming to come. so maybe there's a time skip or mom spent the week coming up with names?
