I don't think Swayzie will approve of this one.

This is just about the most perfect picture ever drawn. It would be a travesty to have it taken down. Surely Rajii wouldn't just steal someone's character. I don't see it on his FA page though.

Why would someone be offended by an artist drawing your character, especially a good artist? Its a free commission.

Seriously. I might say something like, "hey...next time be sure to ask my permission first."

But having it taken down? Kind of smacks of a greedy child.

You can't copyright characters only specific images. So actual legal recourse with regard to someone 'commissioning without permission'...none. Unless someone actually went through the process and legal expense of trademarking their character. (Don't see that happening)

It's at most a politeness issue.

Where did this come from anyway? How did the poster get his hands on it?

Just letting everyone know that I do have permission from both to use their characters.

So all this about character copyright has been pointless. Your flag is a bit misleading.

I'm not calling you a liar or anything, but that seems really odd. It's not like Swayzie doesn't let adult art be done of himself (see his scraps), and like 99% of Rajii's stuff is hardcore. A misunderstanding seems really unlikely.

Well here I am. Yes this is my pic. Yes I got permission from Swayzie. We'd actually been talking it over for weeks getting a picture. He did know it was adult because I was keeping him up to date with all the sketches, lines and colours, so don't pull that crap.

although one could claim a character to be creative property and thats another legal matter all together
