MemberIt's not often that I see someone eat noodles straight from the pan.

JanitorGet a silicone magnetic trivet, slap it on the bottom, and you can put it right on your lap. Not depicted in this image.

MemberI wouldnt do this especially with metal utensils because that will scratch the pot. Accumulated scratches will cause the material to start flaking onto the food you're cooking, and that ain't good.
That being said, cute image.

MemberI guess it would have been here had it existed, but is there any chance that this picture has a SFW version?

MemberIf you make the chicken flavor ramen, put some actual pieces of cooked chicken in and let them soak up the broth a little. So good.

JanitorIf you're referring to nonstick coatings, you should probably stop using those anyway.
Stainless steel can leach nickel and chromium but I don't think it's a big deal.

MemberStraight from the pot? Hmmmm... that sounds pretty good actually, and I wouldn't need that huge soup bowl I've been using. I'm a two packages at once type, along with soy sauce, sesame oil, thinly sliced carrots and celery, shredded cabbage, thinly sliced meat, red curry paste, Chinese 5-spice, Sweet Chili sauce, and a poached egg.

MemberAll this talk of eating straight from the pot, meanwhile the Japanese in me is screeching at the fact that she’s eating with a fork rather than chopsticks.
