Tai being comfortable discussing something as dark as that with someone shows that he has the iron will and determination to keep moving forward. props to him for not having survivors guilt.

The first panel reads "After some time" at the top, they probs just skipped the start of it

I like this comic and Kuroodod's work in general, but that's an almost comically lurching shift in tone.

That...makes some sense. His ability is ultimate defense. (Which is strange for a thief because it sounds more like a tank ability) but if his troubled experience made him both mentally, emotionally and physically stronger from it that he feels comfortable to talk about it with, Gluttony. His ability does make sense.

That's sad to hear, but he looks happy and strong to handle that

That's where my mind went as well... the "What Doesn't kill me" quote paired with Glut's big butt that Tai just had dropped on him repeatedly, does lead to that less then subtle idea.

The butt didnt kill him, it made him stronger.
