I keep wondering why this character is called "Jean?". Like, it's the Ender Dragon, right? I get it if it's an OC but then why is the name posed as a question?

K so you got me legitimately a little curious and after looking at the wiki you can find an explination referring to this reddit thread were Notch names the dragon by saying "Jean?" as a single word reply. I guess people just kept the question mark as a jokey reference to the nonchalant way he responded.
