    I wasn’t being comical. The comment was more inquisitive than it was a joke. I actually do wonder how there’s going to be two Dads. Is the other snake like a hermaphrodite or something? Not trying to diss you or anything, since I enjoy your work.

    No problem ^^
    The idea is that the two snakes are female, and the blue one is simply about to repeat what the purple one just did. He'll be a dad, twice.
    I know the dialogue might not be the clearest, I just couldn't think of another way to word it that still seemed funny to me x3

    I think he got that part, the problem is that a dad is still just one dad no matter how many different women he has children with. The dialogue would make more sense and get the same idea across while maintaining correct grammer if the guy said he wasn't ready to have a kid, and the other snake corrected him with kids.

    Yee, I guess you're right. Just didn't think of it, sorry ^^;

    Or I mean, you could go with "sire a clutch/my first clutch" (since snakes often lay multiple eggs in a clutch) then second could say "clutches". The dads bit really throws this off. Otherwise, good work :)

  • It is possible to have multiple dads. If they cum in short time from each other inside. Happens in nature and with humans too its just extremely rare occurence.
    Much more commons are twins with different fathers.

    They're both female though, with him being the only male.

    I keep coming back to this discussion and I'm pretty sure 'dads' still works because because he'll be the dads of two families..?

    No. He will still be a dad. You could have kids with a million women and still be Dad. Like a women who has kids from 20 dads. They are still a mom. Not now somehow moms. Like the Duggar lady with 22 kids.
