Something I wanted to do before I plunged into a new set of commissions.

  • Man. Finding full tail length riding suits would be a bitch. I mean every species not only would have a different built. But also tail length. The clothing stores would be monstrous to fit all the different shapes and sizes.

Or everyone would just be wearing toga's and loin cloths.

I actually thought this one through one day when I had nothing better to think about(I drive long distance, so I have a lot of time to think stuff like this up). I figured that for outfits like that, you would have to have an interchangable part for every section of the body. The legs would be different than the torso, as would be the head, and the tail tube would be either sewn on when you had the outfit made, or would be unrolled over your tail, like you would a sock and would be either velcroed into place at the top, or secured with a button or zipper. The button idea seemed the most likely as I cant imagine it would be really easy to zip your tail up in a tail tube without accidentally getting fur caught in the zipper. The selectable tail tube would allow a person to specify which one they needed, and if they outgrew just the tube, they could easily detach it and get a larger one.

I even managed to make a pair of jeans with a tail tube built in for a fursuit that never got made. It doesnt cover the whole tail, but it keeps the wind from blowing up your backside through the traditional tail hole that ive seen. It only extends about 4 or so inches down the tail.

Really though, the whole clothing for your tail thing was extremely impractical to make, and even more impractical to get a tail to go through/into it.

    So, no job then? :o

    Good point

In the furry world, you can have unique clothing for your shape, kick ass motorbikes and have beer with random folks... without a job.
