I'm more confused as to what the thing is that has 1807 written on it and why next to it there's what appears to be a cartoon firework with a wind-compass on top.

Feel free to make fun of me for being a dumbass if it's actually something super obvious but I just can't see it.

If I had to guess, I'd say that that's the dad's apartment number and that that's a light fixture of some sort.

Edit: Sorry, had to zoom in on my phone to read the text between the panels. I'd guess that's the mother's house number. I still think that that's a light fixture of some sort.

I'm on my desktop now that's connected to a 36" TV for a monitor and I STILL can't really tell what that may or may not be. I honestly think it's just an old-style light fixture.
