Yes, it does. I believe what Piporete meant to say was that lionesses desire to mate more when they're in heat and that they're more fertile during that time.

They're the perfect mate, Jin doesn't need to be on heat or something to get on the mood, and Keiko when is in heat needs a couple many times a day. Perfect in the sentimental and reproductive way, they're just so cute
