The layout of the panels is a little weird. The top three read left to right, but the bottom three go right to left.

Not the first time this artist has had a bit of dyslexia regarding reading direction...

  • ...wait, what? The panels still read right-to-left. You read the top-right panel, then the left panel, then the next panel down on the right and so-on.

  • I just read this from the beginning a few hours ago. Has anyone mentioned the two moons on page three? They are clearly not on Earth. The only planet I know that has two moons is Risa from Star Trek. Before "what about Nirn from the elder scrolls?" Nirn's moons are different colors and closer than the moons on page three. Risa's moons are the same color. Page three's moons are the same color. Ergo, Risa is the most similar fictional planet to the fictional planet in which this comic is set.

Sorry if this is OT. Analyzing fictional worlds comes with the territory of being an author.

I suppose unemployment has its perks. Enjoying a comic sweeter than high-fructose corn syrup and more wholesome than ethically sourced organic coffee is one of them.

Good catch, ideas? Alternative Earth with two moons or this is the Future/Past of humanty on another planet?

My theory is that this is a colony humans made with Space Travel. Something bad happened and great part of the human went extinct. This is probably some decades after what happened (which I believe the father was involved) and now there are only a determined amount of humans in this planet. I am not too sure about the sapient earth creatures, that's another theory.
