    you know when you think about it, all she wanted when they were talking again was to be back with her husband, but now that chance is lost, im not sure why Leto hates her so much though, ive seen parents do worse and they still love them, why does Leto hate her again?

    im pretty sure that was just a front. most abusive people are manipulative as well so it makes sense that she didn't actually mean that. Leto hates her bc she was the cause of all the arguing and trauma he went through and to top it off, she is suspected to be the cause of the fire, killing his dad whom he actually loved. People work in different ways so different severities of trauma work differently with other people. someone could have had emotional abuse and could be very suicidal while people who are sexually abused could be doing just "fine". in general, its not good to compare traumas due to it having different effects per person, so saying that thing about parents doing much worse but they still love them is very invalidating... sorry its so long tho lol

    ehh i doubt she started the fire honestly, but you make perfect sense and I agree with you, but then again what if the parent has anger issues or something, like my dad, he says things or does things that he regrets later, he loves me and I love him

    Dude, why the absolute hell are you so insistent in defending an abuser??? You've done that the entire comic the moment the mother got focused, saw EVERYTHING she has done, and you have the gall to still wonder why the f Leto RIGHTFULLY hates her??? Put yourself in his fucking shoes for one moment. If my own mother did all this up to this point I WOULD WOULD WANT HER OUT OF MY LIFE and would hate her!
    Are we reading the same comic??? She deserves this fate and NEEDS to die, she absolutely needs to, as the moment she does, we can actually get a silver lining out of this poor boy's suffering.
