Pushed to the Limit

After I posted my last picture a handful of people asked me about commissioning me for more digital work. Initially I decided not to because I have a standing rule that if I'm going to take commissions it really should be from that waiting list, in fact going so far as to outright tell the first person no... but then I went back and did end up taking them. I knew I wanted to practice digital art more, but I tend to be bad at doing anything practicy if I don't have sword of damocles dangling over my head. I know what's not exactly what the sword of damocles really means but you get my idea. x3

So with apologies to those who have asked me for similar things in the past, (right place right time I guess) I went back and took 'em all, under the caveat that I can't promise the results will be great. I'm still very new to digital art (this is my third ever picture that's more than just flat colours, I believe) and don't know exactly what I'm doing, so I couldn't guarantee anything.

Feeling a bit more confident after this one though. Pretty pleased with this! Not perfect by any means, but getting more confident with being able to use the full range of value digital art provides.

So with all that said, this is a commission for PatchKatz , featuring their character Telki, who rather likes having their limits tested. So don't fear for her, the tears mean she's finally having fun! Intensity was the name of the game on this one so I did everything I could think of ratchet it up, even including the lighting. I felt like this up-from-under lighting you rarely see in art would add to the drama of the whole affair.
