Thing is, all the slander the kobold is getting isn't wrong and in the end, the kobold winning would probably be the worst ending no matter how you look at it. First of all, they were never sent to actually do it with the dragon, they misinterpreted orders to KILL the dragon. (Caused by an unfortunate cough whilst saying 'slay', making it 'lay the dragon' instead)

So, lets say that with all the kobolds cheating, they win. Well, they rape the dragon, and the dragon is either let go and continues to ravage the lands, or is so traumatized by it they flee into hiding for the rest of their lives. There's no real way of bending this without copping out, like making the dragon 'like it' or something because...it's very clear that the dragon really doesn't want this.

So lets say the dragon wins, it gets to go back to destroying everything, either leading to the ruin of civilizations or the call for a new hero to slay them, starting the process over .

So in the end, the message will either be 'rape is good' or 'revenge is good', unless the kobold slays the dragon instead, in which this whoooooole thing was a pointless run around.

Effectively, the story has written itself into a corner it can't really escape.

Anyways, with how much games revolve on just slaughtering monsters and giant beasts like dragons, I’d much prefer the dragon live than be dead. Hopefully a more amicable end at least.

I find funny how we now live in a world were rape is considered worse than murder. Even Genocidal Murder. Sure, rape is obviously bad, but this is porn logic and Braver's mentor brought in an era of peace by fucking all the races. So surely fucking this dragon for all eternity will bring peace? Simple porn logic correlation. They are probably just now seeing that maybe its wrong with that sudden diluge of Negative "Discouragement".

Very early on I said that this entire comic series feels pointless. Looks like everyone else is starting to see that too.

The dragon is a blood knight, likely with scores of pointless deaths to it's name. At that point, anything Braver does will hurt his/her karma meter about as much as a tear through Castle Wolfenstein would hurt Blazkowicz's karma meter.

If i remember correctly,many birds have cloaca instead of traditional male and female bits. I think braver said cloaca to keep playing on the ambiguous gender thing. To me the dragon looks physically female and braver looks physically male just judging by their faces, but i could be wrong. Maybe by the end of this comic we may still not know if they are male or female, it just doesn't seem like a sexual art style, but of course i could be wrong on that too. At this point im more interested in the story

A cloaca is everything to both sexes. The dragon could still be male or female.

Edit: Though I'm more tired of the fact that he's completely OP rather than even his convictions. Defeating her fair and square through an epic battle and then fucking her would be one thing... But he really just stood there beating her with a stick day and night, essentially just relying on the fact that he can dodge literally forever and abuse an infinite supply of healing items.

I completely agree. He just cheesed the entire fight in such a way that I just can't vibe with. Playing ANY type of PVP game and going against a person that is unbeatable only because they hack, cheat, or spam is not fun. I'm sure a lot of us had become the dragon at some point; top of the leaderboard with the most kills and then all of a sudden you have to face off against a person who just lag switches you in order to beat you (smh). From this perspective, I hope the dragon can do something.

i mean, that's not a lag switch, the kobold did everything within the rules of the world. It's just a cheese build for like Sephiroth being slapped against Pinwheel

I agree with all you wrote. Pretty spot-on and meta-aware analysis.

My ideas of possible alternatives, from what I would think would be strongest to weakest:
- Giving the dragon some more complexity by having them open up more, perhaps revealing more nuanced or interesting intentions that are more true than the ones so far shown. This would enable a different path to develop. Wanting to be the best being a simplistic motivation of a one-dimensional villain worked as a joke on page 39 but constricted the character.
- A platonic ending. Could have mixed with some of the others here.
- The princess or anyone official appearing to clear up his orders.
- If it did turn out that Disaster dragon was female and Braver male, then Disaster dragon deciding to fight Braver with quick but extremely intense sex and topping, winning yet changing for the better, would've been a nice surprise.
- Both fight till age grants death.
- Both die.
- Someone else comes along, and that someone Disaster dragon actually wants to lay with from the get go.
