While I get it's supposed to be creepy, I would have really liked it if it had googly eyes and a tong sticking out the side of its mouth. Be a little bit of a goof.

I think the idea is quite genius. Now they can do stuff together and it's not weird for other people because they can see her and he isn't acting strange because he's talking to thin air.

Couldn't she possess some custom made polyurethane love doll? It would be a slightly more "convincing" disguise? Not to mention it would provide more freedom of movement.
