Considering the direction of the Halo lore, I wouldn't be surprised. Humans and Sangheili are coming to more peaceful terms with each other (mostly). It would make sense that inevitably rise in copulation between species would occur.

I doubt it because oni poisoned there most hunted food, supplied both armies as in they supplied thel vadumee's forces AND jul'mandama's rebelion forces and i think they also tried to both poison there drinking water and tried to assassinate both jul and thel before the rebellious conflict got out of hand.
