    Ok so the lock and key model for an enzyme is essentially just every enzyme can only break down the molecule it is designed to break down as a enzymes active zone is a certain shape and the molecule has to fit in perfectly, like how there is only one key for a lock.
    An enzyme can actually denature (mold into a different shape) which results in no molecule being able to fit
