If it was the case, i think Leto would have made the link a shit ton of time before, since same voice and same physique, also it wouldn't make much sense because he knew Reth before he met Howl and his family

I am assuming they are guessing. I don’t think she is though, Rethink looks skinnier than Howl’s mother. I also think we will never know who Reth is.

I believe it was meant as a prediction. It'd be an interesting twist, but I don't think that kind of twist is what this comic is going for.
