um well you are right it isnt actually molag bal,it is his minions in his domain. this means it would only be natural that they embody some aspects of their creator, making them extensions of the god

If I remember my lore correctly, the daedric lords can take more or less any form they fancy. Just like real religions, you even get repeating deities in different regions, taking on different forms.

That said, you could easily consider something like this canon. Only thing wrong with it is that argonian looks like he might be enjoying it too much. :V
Kinda weird Bethesda had to tone down their OWN lore in order to make it publishable, otherwise I feel pretty sure there'd have been more than a little rape in Oblivion.
