yes, it is like putting a lightbulb in your mouth, so if you managed to fit one in, you will be able to pull it out. because no, it does not go only one way in either of the cases.

But don't forget about how knots swell, so if you managed to fit a knot in your mouth and it swelled in it then taking it out would be a bit harder

yes, canine dicks swell, so if you put a 'flaccid' one in your mouth and then it got erect, the knot might be too big for you to pull it out.
but my previous comment was written in the context of it working like the mythical magical lightbulb, i.e., as i understood it, according to the popular misconception about canine sex, that the knot gets pushed inside while already swollen (and yet somehow does not manage to stretch the hole enough for it to be pulled out easily).
so no, you don't really "manage to fit" (barely) a knot in your mouth that swells further, unless it's during the short time of the canine getting an erection - if you manage to fit in a swollen one, that's it.
